Job description

The main purpose of this position is to grow and bring in new business through excellent customer care, maintaining relationships, and seeking out new clients in an established, high earnings-potential region.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

· Ensure sales targets are achieved
· Maintain and grow existing business
· Acquire new accounts
· Attend trade shows and training events
· Assists field technicians with in-salon demos and workshops when requested
· Reporting and other ad hoc administrative tasks
· Ensure confidentiality of company data

Minimum Requirements

· Matric Certificate.
· At least 2 years’ relevant sales / key account experience in a similar position
· Computer literacy
· Own reliable transport
· Valid driver’s license
· Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal and must be well presented
· Entrepreneurial qualities; team player, self-starter
· Trade test is not required, but will be a bonus
· If you do not comply with all the minimum requirements your application will not be considered

Broad Description of responsibilities: This critical role relies on the ability to deliver on your business unit’s priorities and ensure that your staff achieve and exceed their portion of your stated company sales, new account, promotional and educational goals. This multi-functional task demands vision, excellent management, organizational, people and sales skills. It demands the ability to manage, train, motivate and lead your sales team to success.

Key Tasks:

To manage and execute all aspects of the sales policy. Ensuring that a structured, goal orientated plan is in place, and providing all Sales Consultants with an efficient framework from which to work from.
To understand and execute all the duties in terms of managing, motivating, leading and training the sales team.
To manage and execute all aspects of the marketing policy as defined by the marketing department.
To profitably achieve and exceed business unit’s sales targets as set out in the Annual Sales strategy.
To set, achieve and exceed annual new client account targets.
To oversee all aspects of the pricing policy
To achieve and exceed promotional targets as set and agreed with the Marketing Manager.
To achieve and exceed annual educational targets as set and agreed with the Education Manager.
To maintain Client Relationships
To manage all contractual relationships with the client .
Understanding and executing all policies and terms as outlined in the Profit and Potential Menu.
Performing all administrative duties in managing the sales force as outlined by the company both formally and informally in its Sales Conference, management meetings and one-on-one meetings. These included overseeing expense and insurance claims, holidays, salaries, bonuses etc.
Ensuring efficient reporting systems:
Feeding back information to senior management and marketing regarding industry changes, customer and competitive information
